Tools

Here you can find additional SmartInspect related tools which are not directly included in the SmartInspect distribution. Most tools come with the full source code and can thus be modified and extended. From time to time we will add new tools to this section and also update existing downloads.

SmartInspect Tools

The following table lists the currently available set of additional SmartInspect tools. Please note that these tools are currently considered unsupported because they have not gone through the entire QA process yet.

Tool	Description
SmartInspect Receiver	A simple example TCP server for the SmartInspect libraries written in Borland Delphi 2006. Please see this article for more information.
SmartInspect SDK	A small library for reading SmartInspect binary log files. This library is written in C# and .NET 2.0 and requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to compile and use.
SmartInspect Resource Kit	A collection of various useful tools which build on top of the SmartInspect SDK. Currently included in this collection are tools for splitting and joining SmartInspect log files.
SmartInspect Delphi Plugin (Beta 1)	A beta version of a plugin for Delphi which helps in instrumenting source code with SmartInspect EnterMethod and LeaveMethod statements. Please see the included readme for more information.
