I bought RAD studio 2007. I heard that BDS 2006 and Rad Studio 2007 can run on the same machine. Can I use SmartInspect with both (just the library not the template).

For compatibilty reason I would upgrade only major version of my software to new IDE and making bugfix with old IDE.

Yes, this is possible. If you haven't already, you might want to update to the latest SmartInspect release, 2.3.1, which comes with full support for RAD Studio 2007 including live templates, pre-compiled binaries and library IDE integration.
