Updating SmartInspect Professional

Updating SmartInspect is easy. To update a SmartInspect installation, just install the new version over the old one. Make sure you are using the same installation directory in the setup. Your configuration settings are transfered to the new version. Some exceptions to this rule are described below.

Updating from SmartInspect Professional Trial 1.0

Because of a problem with the SmartInspect Professional Trial setup in the 1.0 version, it is needed to uninstall this trial version before installing a newer version or before upgrading to the full edition.
