Integrating SmartInspect into Eclipse

The SmartInspect setup automatically generates a user library for easy integration into Eclipse. This article describes how to use the user library to integrate the SmartInspect Java library into Eclipse 3.x.
Eclipse 3.x
- Open the IDE
- Choose Preferences from the Window menu
- Choose Java|Build Path|User Libraries from the tree
- Press the Import button and import the SmartInspect.userlibraries file from the lib\java directory of your SmartInspect installation directory
Now, to use SmartInspect with one of your Java projects in Eclipse:
- Choose Properties from the Project menu
- Choose Java Build Path|Libraries and press the Add Library button
- Choose User Library and press next
- Select the previously added user library called SmartInspect and then press Finish
