Integrating SmartInspect into Borland JBuilder

The SmartInspect setup has the ability to integrate the SmartInspect libraries into the installed IDEs and editors. We recommend using this feature to minimize the installation efforts. If you, however, need to integrate the libraries manually, this topic explains how to manually integrate the SmartInspect libraries into the different Borland JBuilder versions.

Borland JBuilderX and Borland JBuilder 2005

The following steps integrate the SmartInspect Java library into Borland JBuilderX and Borland JBuilder 2005.

• Open the IDE
• Choose Configure Libraries from the Tools menu (Tools|Configure|Libraries in JBuilder 2005)
• Press the New button to open the New Library Wizard
• Enter SmartInspect as the library name
• Select User Home as the location
• Add the SmartInspect.jar file from the lib\java directory of your SmartInspect installation directory
