Integrating SmartInspect into Borland C#Builder

The SmartInspect setup has the ability to integrate the SmartInspect libraries into the installed IDEs and editors. We recommend using this feature to minimize the installation efforts. If you, however, need to integrate the libraries manually, this topic explains how to manually integrate the SmartInspect .NET library into Borland C#Builder.

Borland C#Builder

The following steps integrate the SmartInspect .NET library into Borland C#Builder. It is recommended to close C#Builder while applying the following steps.

• Choose Run in the Windows Start menu
• Enter regedit and click OK to start the Windows Registry Editor
• Open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\BDS\1.0\AssemblyFolders
• Create a new key in AssemblyFolders called SmartInspect
• Edit the default value and enter the full path to the lib\dotnet\v1.x directory of your SmartInspect installation directory
