TestRail and FogBugz integration details

After configuring TestRail to work with your existing FogBugz installation (or FogBugz on Demand), you can link test results to FogBugz cases by entering the case IDs. To make it more convenient to add cases to FogBugz, you can also configure a link to the Add Case page.

  1. Add FogBugz case IDs to test results within TestRail
  2. Use the Add defect link to jump to FogBugz' case form
  3. Links to FogBugz cases are automatically added to test results
  4. Jump directly to relevant FogBugz cases

Configuring the FogBugz integration

To configure TestRail to work with FogBugz, just enter the URLs of your FogBugz installation under Administration > Site Settings > Integration Tab. Use the following URLs to integrate TestRail with FogBugz:

Self-hosted FogBugz installation
Defect View Url: http://your-server/fogbugz/default.asp?%id%
Defect Add Url:  http://your-server/fogbugz/default.asp?command=new&pg=pgEditBug

FogBugz on Demand
Defect View Url: http://your-name.fogbugz.com/default.asp?%id%
Defect Add Url:  http://your-name.fogbugz.com/default.asp?command=new&pg=pgEditBug
