TestRail and Jira integration details

After configuring TestRail to work with your existing Jira installation, you can link test results to Jira cases by entering the case IDs. To make it more convenient to add cases to Jira, you can also configure a link to the Add Case page.

1. Add Jira case IDs to test results within TestRail
2. Use the Add defect link to jump to Jira's case form
3. Links to Jira cases are automatically added to test results
4. Jump directly to relevant Jira cases

Configuring the Jira integration

To configure TestRail to work with Jira, just enter the URLs of your Jira installation under Administration > Site Settings > Integration Tab. Use the following URLs to integrate TestRail with Jira:

Defect View Url: http://your-server/jira/browse/%id%
Defect Add Url:  http://your-server/jira/CreateIssue!default.jspa
