How is TestRail licensed?
TestRail is licensed per active named users. This means that every person who needs access to the application requires a TestRail license. You can only add as many active user accounts to your TestRail installation as your current license permits.
If a user doesn't need access to TestRail anymore, her account can be disabled and another user account can be added or activated instead. You can also easily add additional named users to your license by purchasing additional user packs.
TestRail Pricing
TestRail licenses include one year of free support and updates. Additional support plan years can be purchased together with the initial TestRail licenses or when a support plan expires.

Our products are targeted at businesses and prices are therefore listed without VAT. European residents and German businesses will be charged 19% VAT.
Support Plans
Our products come with one year of free support and minor and major upgrades. You can choose to extend support for additional years when you place your order. Once your support plan ends, you can renew it to keep getting support and future product upgrades. Our support plans include:
- Free email and forum support
- Minor upgrades (ex: 2.1 → 2.2)
- Major upgrades (ex: 2.0 → 3.0)
We will automatically notify you when your support plan ends. If you wish to resume a support plan after it has ended, you may do so by paying for the period from the day it has ended.
Special Licenses
