TestRail and Trac integration details

After configuring TestRail to work with your existing Trac installation, you can link test results to Trac cases by entering the case IDs. To make it more convenient to add cases to Trac, you can also configure a link to the Add Case page.

1. Add Trac case IDs to test results within TestRail
2. Use the Add defect link to jump to Trac's case form
3. Links to Trac cases are automatically added to test results
4. Jump directly to relevant Trac cases

Configuring the Trac integration

To configure TestRail to work with Trac, just enter the URLs of your Trac installation under Administration > Site Settings > Integration Tab. Use the following URLs to integrate TestRail with Trac:

Defect View Url: http://your-server/trac/ticket/%id%
Defect Add Url:  http://your-server/trac/newticket
